How the Boone County Court Calendar Works
Indiana Trial Court Calendars can display participating court schedules for the past seven days and the next four weeks. Its form asks for county, an optional court, a date, and search text for a case number or case name. The result is a convenience calendar. The CCS in MyCase remains the official chronological record of settings and later changes.
Boone County requires an important fallback. At the research check, the live participation list contained Boone as county ID 6 but returned no participating court nodes. No Boone Circuit, Superior I, or Superior II schedule was exposed. The portal itself says some courts choose not to display schedules and tells users to contact the court. An empty Boone County court schedule result means no public listing was returned, not that no hearing exists.
Boone Has No Live Calendar Node
The assigned capture from the live court-participation data records Boone County's empty court array. It is useful evidence of the portal state checked on August 22, 2026, but it should not be treated as a lasting promise. Court participation can change, and the public schedule is only one access channel.
When the dropdown supplies no Boone court, switch to the case's CCS, then call the assigned court. Do not choose a nearby county or a different court merely to produce a result.
Boone County Court Date Lookups
Begin with MyCase for a non-confidential Boone County case. A cause number is the strongest key because its court code identifies Circuit, Superior I, or Superior II. A party-name search should be narrowed by Boone court, status, and filing range. Read the newest hearing event and every later reset, continuance, cancellation, or order before relying on a date.
- Search MyCase by cause number, or use a party name and filters when the number is unknown.
- Confirm the caption, party role, court identifier, case type, and filing date before reading the schedule.
- Open the CCS and locate the newest setting, then scan all later entries for a change.
- Try Trial Court Calendars, while remembering that Boone currently supplies no participating court node.
- Call the assigned court or ask counsel to verify the date, time, hearing type, and place.
The Boone County Clerk at 212 Courthouse Square can help identify the court from a cause number by phone at 765-482-3510, by email, by mail, or at the weekday counter. A courthouse or courtroom posting can give same-day context, but it should be matched to the CCS and court staff. No daily printed county calendar or county text-reminder program was documented.
Inside Boone's Calendar Search Form
The statewide form is simple, but each control has a distinct job. County chooses the geographic court group. Court is optional only when participating courts are available. Date accepts a calendar date. Search text accepts a case number or case name and has a 75-character limit. Find Hearings runs the query; Reset clears it.
The assigned official portal capture shows those search controls before a hearing query is submitted.
The portal window is narrow by design. A date beyond the next four weeks, or more than seven days in the past, requires the CCS or direct court inquiry even if a court participates.
Court Settings: What Each Field Means
A Boone County court setting is a scheduled procedural event. It is not proof that the event occurred, that a party attended, or that the case ended. The calendar or CCS may give only a date, court, case identifier, hearing label, and caption. Use the court identifier to connect the line to the proper office and read later CCS entries for what happened.
| Date | The listed hearing day; check later entries for a reset or continuance |
|---|---|
| Time | The scheduled start or docket time, which court staff should confirm when unclear |
| Courtroom | The assigned court or location; do not infer it from the county name alone |
| Judge or Court | The court handling the setting, including a special-judge assignment when entered |
| Setting Type | A first hearing, conference, motion hearing, trial, review, or other scheduled event |
Indiana records the official docket sequence as the Chronological Case Summary. The CCS entry date is the notation date and may differ from the actual hearing date. That is why both the event label and its text matter.
Boone Court Phone Fallbacks
Direct confirmation depends on the assigned court. Boone Circuit Court lists 765-482-0530 at 310 Courthouse Square. Superior I lists 765-482-0450 at 307 Courthouse Square. Superior II lists 765-482-6502 at 112 Courthouse Square. Give staff the cause number and ask a focused schedule question. Court staff may provide routine hearing information but cannot advise what motion to file or what legal choice to make.
Superior I also provides a jury trial-status recording at 765-483-5748 after 5:30 p.m. on the evening before trial. Jury check-in is on the third floor. Superior II directs visitors to its South or Main Street security entrance and restricts phones and laptops in the courtroom or deliberation room unless authorized. These court-specific facts should be checked close to the appearance date.
Boone Area Transit is identified on the Superior II page as a local transportation option, with service hours posted from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Transportation information does not confirm the hearing schedule. Check the time with the court first, then plan arrival around security screening and the location stated by the assigned court.
When a Court Date Moves
A continuance postpones a scheduled event. A reset supplies a new date after a setting was moved, canceled, or continued. One CCS line may report that the old date changed without stating the replacement. Read every later entry, including scheduling orders and notices. A missing line on the public calendar is not enough to establish cancellation.
Contact the assigned Boone County court when a change seems unclear, especially if the date is near. Counsel can also confirm an order received in the case. Zionsville Town Court has separate municipal guidance: its official page says continuance requests should be sent at least five days before the hearing. That timing is not a rule for Boone Circuit or Superior Courts.
Note: A request to continue a setting does not move the date unless the court grants it and the record reflects the change.
Odyssey Dates Behind Boone Schedules
Indiana's Odyssey case-management system supplies the MyCase public layer. Boone Circuit, Superior I, and Superior II are listed as Odyssey-live from February 21, 2017. Zionsville Town Court is listed from November 14, 2013. The state Odyssey participation page shown below documents those court identifiers and go-live dates.
Odyssey participation supports CCS viewing, but it does not guarantee a Boone entry in the separate Trial Court Calendars portal. Filing through Indiana's e-filing system is another distinct function. E-filing sends documents to the court; it is not a public hearing calendar.
Municipal dates add another layer. Zionsville Town Court lists Tuesday and Thursday administrative hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and gives 317-344-1176 for court inquiries. Its published guidance says contested trials are usually set the following month at 6 p.m. Those facts apply to Zionsville, not to the Boone County trial courts. Lebanon City Court is current under Administrative Rule 8 but lacked a confirmed calendar listing in the reviewed sources. For either municipal case, follow the court named on the ticket or notice and confirm the schedule directly.
Boone Calendar Entries Prove No Outcome
A posted setting shows that an event was scheduled. It does not prove that the hearing occurred, that any person appeared, or that the court entered a ruling. Read the CCS after the date for a minute entry, order, reset, disposition, or other result. For an official copy of that event, request the record from the Boone County Clerk.
Missed Settings and What Comes Next
Act promptly after a missed Boone County court setting. Check the newest CCS entries, contact counsel if represented, and call the assigned court or clerk with the cause number. Ask what public event or order was entered and whether another date appears. Do not assume that a portal omission excuses the absence or that staff can erase a consequence over the phone.
Missed a setting? A missed appearance can produce serious case-specific consequences, including a default or an adverse court order.
Contact the assigned Boone court and any attorney at once, then verify the CCS for a new setting or order.
Legal advice about responding to the missed date must come from a qualified attorney, not court staff.
For a ticket, use the court named on the citation. Zionsville's municipal process differs from the county courts, and Lebanon's reestablished City Court was not present in the reviewed Odyssey participation list. The countywide docket search can help locate the correct cause number before a call.
