Lebanon Court Docket Searches
Start every search with the cause number. Under current Administrative Rule 8, Lebanon City Court is 06H01, and Boone County records use 06C01 for Circuit, 06D01 for Superior I, and 06D02 for Superior II. That prefix tells you where the file lives. An incident happening in Lebanon tells you far less. The Indiana MyCase portal takes a case number, citation number, cross-reference, party name, business name, or attorney.
- Copy the full cause or citation number from the notice.
- Check whether its court code is 06H01 or a county code.
- Search MyCase by that number before trying a name.
- Compare the court, filing date, parties, status, and case type.
- When 06H01 does not appear, contact the issuing source or Boone Clerk for routing.
A name search can be narrowed by court, status, and filing dates. Try exact spelling first. Only then use sounds-like and wildcard tools. MyCase also warns users that its public information can contain errors or omissions and is not the certified court record.
Lebanon Portal Status Gap
Lebanon City Court is current under the governing rule. Yet the Odyssey participation list, in its current version dated August 22, 2026, does not include it. No court-specific public page or phone appears in the official listings either. Treat these as access gaps, nothing more. They do not mean the court is inactive. The Indiana Supreme Court reestablished the court under cause prefix 06H01, effective January 1, 2024, and it remains in operation under that order.
Keep both facts together: Lebanon City Court exists under current Rule 8, while its public portal listing and a direct court phone are missing.
A current citation may print the best court contact. Use it first. If the record has moved to a Boone County court, Lisa Bruder's clerk office can route the request. Never treat an old ordinance reference or a directory entry as a working search portal.
Inside the Lebanon Municipal Court
Lebanon City Court carries identifier 06H01. It was abolished in 2013 and reestablished in 2024. The official 2023 election result names Alexander S. Kruse as judge. Older Lebanon ordinance material refers to City Court scheduling municipal civil violations. That documents a former operating relationship. But it says nothing about current hours, hearing location, jurisdiction, or any online docket. That distinction matters. The rule and election record prove the court's legal status and its judge. They do not supply the operational details. A valid Lebanon court record should identify its court and cause number. Follow that record, the issuing agency, or a confirmed court notice. Do not assume every city matter uses the county courthouse.
Lebanon Court Building Distinctions
Lebanon City Hall sits at 401 S. Meridian Street. The municipal records source supports that address. But it is not proof of a current city-court hearing site. Boone County court offices sit at separate Courthouse Square addresses instead. The clerk is at 212 Courthouse Square. Circuit is at 310, Superior I at 307, and Superior II at 112.
| Place | Supported role | Do not assume |
|---|---|---|
| Lebanon City Hall | Municipal government and records location | Confirmed 06H01 hearing room |
| Boone Clerk | County court file keeper and routing contact | Separate city-court clerk |
| Courthouse Square courts | Circuit and Superior dockets | Every Lebanon citation files there |
The building printed on a current notice beats a general city address. Confirm before appearing, especially when the record says 06H01.
Finding Lebanon Court Dates
A Lebanon setting can appear on a ticket, notice, or MyCase Chronological Case Summary. Indiana's Trial Court Calendars portal covers only participating courts, and no Boone court appears among its options. A blank calendar there is not evidence that a hearing was cancelled or never set.
| Date | The scheduled day on the latest valid notice or entry. |
|---|---|
| Time | The listed appearance time, distinct from office hours. |
| Court | 06H01 or the county code in the cause number. |
| Location | The hearing site stated by the issuing court. |
| Setting type | Appearance, trial, conference, compliance event, or other hearing. |
Read events after a continuance for a reset. If a city setting lacks a confirmed public listing, use the contact printed on the case paper. County settings can be checked with the named court or the Boone Clerk using the cause number.
Lebanon Court Contact Fallbacks
The Boone County Clerk is the practical county-record fallback, not a substitute city-court clerk. Lisa Bruder's office sits at 212 Courthouse Square, Lebanon, IN 46052. Its phone is 765-482-3510. Its fax is 765-485-0150. Posted hours run Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clerk maintains records for Boone Circuit and Superior courts.

Lebanon, IN 46052

Give the clerk the exact number and ask whether the matter is a county file, a transferred municipal record, or something to direct elsewhere. For 06H01, use the issuing contact printed on the citation when available. A statewide public-terminal option exists, but Boone posts no terminal hours of its own.
Lebanon Traffic Ticket Lookups
A Lebanon ticket search starts with the court and the UTT number. Indiana ePay searches by UTT, driver's-license number, or name and date of birth. Not all courts and tickets appear there. The portal says a new ticket may take ten business days to show. A missing ePay result does not mean no case exists. Balance Lebanon City Court's current Rule 8 status against the missing Odyssey listing. Then use direct contact. Inspect the ticket for 06H01 and a court phone. If it names Boone Superior II or another county court, follow that cause number. Boone's payment and prosecutor deferral details belong to the Boone County traffic court record route. Do not pay first when seeking a deferral review, because payment may prevent that option.
Lebanon Court Status Timeline
Lebanon's city court has come and gone. Indiana abolished it in 2013. An Indiana Supreme Court order dated January 4, 2024 brought it back. It was effective January 1, 2024. Current Administrative Rule 8 lists 06H01 as Lebanon City Court. So a stale page, an old case, and a fresh citation can all point to different places. A dormant code is not a portal. And a live code does not mean MyCase lists the court. Note the date on whatever source you use. For current legal status, the state rule controls. Boone pages still describe five city courts, but the rule wins.
Reading Lebanon Court Records
Indiana's official trail-court event log is the Chronological Case Summary, or CCS. It records filings, rulings, orders, settings, judgments, and other judicial events in brief. A CCS is not a transcript, and it may not offer every public document for download.
- Cause number
- The case identifier whose court code directs the search.
- CCS
- The official sequence of judicial events.
- Setting
- A scheduled hearing or court event.
- Continuance
- A postponement that requires checking later entries.
- Disposition
- The result or status resolving a case or charge.
- Transfer
- Movement to another court, which can change the search path.
The date an entry posts can differ from the hearing or signature date. A closed flag does not mean every document is online, and an online balance is not an official payoff statement.
How Lebanon Cases Reach the County
A Lebanon address settles nothing about jurisdiction. County civil, felony, probate, juvenile, small-claims, and other assigned matters go to Boone Circuit or Superior courts even when the parties and events are inside Lebanon. Superior II holds small claims alone. Superior I handles estates, guardianships, probate, and adoptions exclusively. Circuit keeps exclusive paternity, CHINS, juvenile delinquency, and status-offense work.
Docket flow: Lebanon City Court › Boone County Courts › Boone Circuit Court
Treat that line as a routing aid. It does not mean each case passes through every tier. Appeals open a separate Indiana appellate docket, and federal cases use PACER rather than MyCase. The Boone County court docket overview maps those county routes.
Lebanon Record Request Choices
To pull a county file, ask the Boone Clerk. Give a cause number, document name, approximate date, and the format you want. The county also offers a disposition and copy request form. It asks for the defendant name and contact details. You can add an optional cause number. It also wants a document type. Choices include probable-cause, charging, sentencing, revocation, and other filings. The county posts no turnaround time or payment amount. The official form page in the county capture source shows that document-specific route in practice.

The form only helps when the Boone clerk holds the file. A 06H01 request may still need the direct municipal channel named on the current record.
Lebanon Court Records Context
Lebanon counted 16,662 residents in the 2020 Census incorporated-place table. That makes it Boone County's second-largest incorporated place. It is also the county seat. Boone Circuit's own history says the seat moved to Lebanon in the early 1830s, and the Circuit Court entered a Lebanon courthouse in 1834.
Lebanon is growing fast, with municipal planning around the LEAP innovation district. That backdrop makes a returning city-court layer timely. It says nothing about how present cases get published.
Who Can See Lebanon Court Records
Indiana presumes court records are open, with court-specific exclusions. Juvenile, adoption, paternity, mental-health, protection-order, sealed, and expunged material may be missing or restricted. Agency records under the Indiana Access to Public Records Act differ from judicial files governed by court rules.
Key rules:
Indiana Rules on Access to Court Records govern access and exclusions.
Indiana Trial Rule 77 defines the CCS, case file, judgment record, and clerk duties.
Indiana Access to Public Records Act applies to many public bodies without replacing judicial rules.
The Indiana trial-court statistics source publishes a provisional-data notice and historical reports.

Aggregate court data and a specific official case record answer different questions, and that notice says so. The official Lebanon municipal source identifies City Hall and the municipal records setting.

That page supports the city-government address. One limit stays: City Hall is not a confirmed 06H01 hearing site.
