Traffic Case Records in Boone County
Boone Superior Court II is the county page's traffic-infraction court, but some traffic misdemeanors, felonies, and operating-while-intoxicated matters follow the local assignment plan. The cause number controls. Lisa Bruder, Boone County Clerk, maintains the county trial-court record and its Chronological Case Summary.
Zionsville Town Court has a separate municipal path. Lebanon City Court is current under Administrative Rule 8, though its MyCase participation was not confirmed. Whitestown, Thorntown, and Jamestown courts are abolished. Old court codes may still appear in historical records.
Boone Traffic Courts by Code
A cause number beginning 06D02 points to Superior II. County traffic crimes may carry 06C01 or 06D01. IF means an infraction, while TR denotes a traffic matter. Zionsville's current code is 06I02; Lebanon's is 06H01.
Check the filing date, issuing agency, and named court. A historical municipal identifier is not proof that the old court still accepts current payments or record requests.
Boone County Traffic Ticket Lookups
Start with Indiana ePay. Search by ticket or UTT number, driver's-license number, or name and date of birth. MyCase is the next online route for the public CCS. Not every ticket or court is available.
- Read the UTT number, court, and deadline on the ticket.
- Search ePay by UTT, then try MyCase by citation or cause number.
- Without the ticket, use name and date of birth.
- Call the named court or visit the Boone Clerk if it has not posted.
- Confirm the court date, balance, and response deadline.
Inside Boone County ePay
The state ePay form offers the three documented lookup routes.

A matching case may show filed date, court, cause number, balances, payment amount, processing fee, and payment controls. Review each field before acting. The payment screen is not the complete court file, and availability does not decide whether the citation exists.
Traffic Court Dates in Boone County
Read the appearance date on the citation, then confirm it through the latest CCS event or named court. Indiana's Trial Court Calendars portal did not show a participating Boone trial court when researched. An empty calendar does not cancel a hearing. A reset or continuance can move the date, so read later CCS entries.
| Citation Number | UTT or Boone cause number |
|---|---|
| Court | County or municipal court named on the record. |
| Date & Time | Appearance date or later reset. |
| Setting | Appearance, conference, trial, or other event. |
| Status | Pending, paid, disposed, or other court status. |
When Boone Tickets Appear Late
ePay warns that a new ticket may take ten business days to appear. Preserve the paper citation and its deadline. Waiting for a web result does not extend the due date. After the window, search MyCase and call the issuing court.
A missing result can reflect processing lag, an unavailable court, an ineligible payment, or a search mismatch. It does not erase the ticket.
Zionsville also instructs readers to wait ten days before online payment. Lebanon matters may require direct court confirmation.
Paying a Ticket vs Fighting It
Boone's county page routes eligible traffic and criminal-cost payments through Odyssey and requires the cause number. A service fee is added. The county infraction page says the counter accepts money orders only and strongly encourages online payment. Confirm current methods first.
To contest, follow the response method on the ticket or ask the named court. Zionsville permits an appearance or mailed denial. A person considering county deferral should contact the prosecutor before paying, because the program says payment cannot be reversed into deferral.
| Paying the Ticket | Contesting the Ticket |
|---|---|
| Uses the eligible payment route. | Preserves a challenge in the named court. |
| Must meet the ticket deadline. | Must meet the response or appearance deadline. |
| Online or current clerk method. | Appearance or court-approved written denial. |
Missed Court Date: Boone's deferral page warns that failure to submit required material or appear can lead to default judgment. Contact the named court promptly.
Boone Traffic Deferral Timing
The Boone Prosecutor's Infraction Deferral Program is discretionary. Listed baseline terms include a Boone ticket, a driver at least sixteen with a valid license, no commercial driver's license, no admission or payment, and prosecutor approval. Common categories include speeding, signals, signs, lane, passing, following, yield, and turn-signal violations.

The typical period is twelve months. Paperwork and fees are due by the ticket deadline unless extended. Deferral is not a guaranteed dismissal. The CCS controls the final disposition.
Two Records: Court File and Driver File
The court file and state driver file have different custodians. The Boone court file shows the citation case, court, settings, filings, judgment, payment events, and disposition. The state licensing agency maintains the driver file. For proof of what the court did, request the court's CCS or certified disposition.
| Court Traffic Record | Driver Record | |
|---|---|---|
| Kept By | Boone Clerk or municipal court | State licensing agency |
| Shows | Citation, settings, judgment, and disposition | Separate licensing record |
| How to Get It | MyCase or the court clerk | Agency's own record channel |
Zionsville Traffic Record Differences
Zionsville Town Court handles state infractions, Zionsville ordinance violations, and Whitestown ordinance violations. Its page posts Tuesday and Thursday administrative hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a phone number of 317-344-1176. It accepts card payment through Indiana ePayment, or personal or certified check or money order at Town Hall. It says no cash.
Zionsville states that no partial payments are accepted. Its due date appears at the bottom of the ticket. Contested trials are usually the next month at 6 p.m., and continuance requests should arrive at least five days before the hearing. These are municipal instructions, not general county rules.
Traffic Record Copy Fees
Boone's fee page posts infraction court costs of $135 plus fines and late fees. It is marked effective July 1, 2021, so confirm the current total. Court cost, fine, online transaction charge, copy charge, and deferral fee are distinct.
| Item | Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary copy | $0.10/page | County posted fee. |
| Order copy | $1/page | Verify current amount. |
| Certified pleading | $3 plus $1/page | Certification differs from a plain copy. |
| Infraction court cost | $135 plus additions | Dated county schedule. |
Boone Clerk Payment Notice
The Boone Clerk infraction page gives the local payment and money-order notice.

Verify the accepted method, amount, and service charge against the live case. For a plain or certified copy, contact the clerk at 212 Courthouse Square, Lebanon, or 765-482-3510. Give the cause number and name the CCS, disposition, or order. Municipal records belong with the court that heard the citation.
A Boone County traffic entry should be read in sequence. The citation filing is not the disposition. A payment balance is not proof of the final court action, and a zero online amount is not a certified satisfaction. Look for later judgment, dismissal, deferral, transfer, payment, or closure entries. If an event says continued or reset, read forward for the next setting. The CCS entry date may also differ from the date the hearing took place.
County and state portals serve different tasks. ePay locates eligible payment records. MyCase displays the public Odyssey case history. The clerk supplies the official file and certified copy. The statewide calendar is a separate schedule tool, and Boone was not participating in its public court list when researched. Using the correct channel prevents a blank result in one system from being mistaken for a missing case in all systems.
